Overview

The tour starts at the meeting point. From there we will drive west, crossing the bridge that connects Tromsø to the island of Kvaløya. During this trip we will cross 3 fjords. And we will drive across the valley of Kattdfjordeidet. There will be short stops to take photos and experiment nature. Sometimes we can see reindeer and other animals roaming free. The destination is Sommarøy, “the Summer Island”. There we will enjoy a warm 2-couse lunch (soup + desert) inside the Sommarøy Arctic Hotel. To return we will take the road on the south-east coast of Kvaløya. During this ride we can enjoy the views of the Sund and the mountains of Malangen. The tour finishes at our original meeting point after approximately 5 hours. In all our tours we accept wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility. We also are prepared to guide people with visual or hearing impairments. And we always work on creating a comfortable experience for neurodivergent people as well.

A lovely and personal guide of the fjords

Had the happiest day, Martin our tour guide made the experience such a pleasure. The fjords were stunning, the other guests were great company and the small group made it a relaxed day. The hotel stop for lunch was in the most beautiful of settings and the fish soup was delicious . The staff catered for all food intolerances without any fuss. Loved it. Marnie x

Scenic views and great atmosphere

I was very delighted by this tour! The group was small and very nice, we traveled by minibus. Our tour guide Bruno told us about the places we visited, the Norwegian culture, life and also about the Sami culture. He led us to beautiful scenic places and took nice pictures of us. We had very delicious lunch at the Sammorøy island. We talked about many topics and had a great time. I recommend this tour. You can learn a lot and visit places you wouldn't visit yourself.

Amazing trip with Bruno. He was very knowledgeable and passionate. The scenery was stunning and we even saw the stratospheric clouds which Bruno told us all about. Lunch at the hotel was also very nice. Book with this company you will be well looked after.

We had a fabulous day on 11th Jan when we took a fjord tour to Sommaroy with guide, Bruno! Not only did Bruno go above and beyond to tell us facts about the country and regale us with the history of the Sami people, he also stopped along the route many times to show us some lesser-known wonders of the Norwegian Fjords! Bruno really made this tour special with his effervescent personality and genuine passion and enthusiasm for the country and its people - I would recommend any of his tours!

We has the absolute best day out! We were lucky enough to be the only couple on the trip with Bruno, our amazing guide who couldnt do enough for us. He couldn't have been more friendly, informative and helpful...such a nice guy. The scenery and places he took us to were breathtakingly beautiful. Stunning frozen fjords, remote, beautiful beaches and glistening mountains. The lunch at the hotel was also extremely tasty. You will not be disappointed in this trip...it was well worth it and a highlight of our holiday.
