Overview

A half day tour where you can visit unique and very traditional places, and feel like a real local. We started in Funchal to the village of Camacha to visit the wicker factory. By regional roads, we arrive at Santo da Serra where the Mercado Agricola delights those who visit it. In off-road we arrive at Portela, with a fantastic viewpoint on the north coast. And we ended the morning at 1810 meters in Pico do Arieiro.

Great morning trip

We went on the trip to the Camacha, Santo de Srrra Sunday market & Pico Areeiro. We were picked up at our hotel right on time and as there were only 4 of us in a Landrover Discovery it was very comfortable. Eddie, our driver, was very knowledgeable & interesting and we had a lovely morning.
