    Start off from Ueno Park (especially beautiful during cherry blossom season), where you can take that nice walk you would probably need after the flight.

    Pay a visit to SensĹŤ-ji, the most important temple of Tokyo, to learn a bit about Japanese religion and culture.

  • Shibuya (Pass By)

    Experience first hand a dash into the famous crossing street, or enjoy its view from above by climbing up Magnet department store.

  • Harajuku Station (Pass By)

    Check out the wildly out-there cosplay costumes in the streets of Harajuku, the mecca of young pop-culture generation. Or, if this not your cup of tea, ask your host to escort you to Omotesando, a more relaxed high-end district just a stone's throw away.

This tour was a great introduction to Tokyo, making it feel much more approachable. I loved the fact that we went everywhere by public transportation, and walked around each area, as it gave me a chance to really get a feel for things. My guide, Api, was wonderful, and I felt as though I was being shown around the city by a friend.
