Overview

This may be the beginning of a dream come true. Look no further, or read on if you are unsure! As some of the most experienced guides, we analyse weather predictions prior to every tour, and have close contact with a network of guides for the highest chances to see the Northern Lights. Our comfortable vehicle with 4x4 drive is fully equipped with everything we may need in the arctic, allowing us to discover remote scenery, reaching the more calm and peaceful places. We pick you up at a central location in Tromsø, allowing us more time for finding, and seeing the Aurora earlier! With no two nights the same, our enthusiasm and dedication never fades. Upon reaching suitable skies, we will set up camp for the evening. Most of the time this is a shorter drive to the surrounding coastal islands of Tromsø, or if needed a longer drive into Finland. Unforgettable evening

I would definitely recommend Northern Soul adventures for a Northern lights chase. The small group size is perfect and Bogdan and Lucas (our guide and driver) were fantastic with their knowledge and passion for the Aurora and the Tromso area. Bogdan did explain that they check the weather conditions, aurora apps and have a network with the other tour groups to ensure that they know where to go to get the best chance of seeing the lights. We were told to bring our passports in case we needed to go to Finland so they are prepared to travel to get you a sighting of the Aurora if needed. We were very very lucky to have the most incredible display on the night we booked and the fantastic photos Bogdan took plus the drinks and food round the campfire made this an unforgettable experience. All the photos were sent to us the next day and were included in the price of the trip. A truly magical and memorable evening.

Northern Sole Adventures is the BEST company to book with. I love that the tours are very small - 8-9 people which allowed us to have more opportunities to see and photograph the NL. The guides, Fede, Justyna, and Armand were incredibly knowledgeable about the Northern Lights and Tromso history. They took exceptional photographs and shared the HIGH RESOLUTION photos with us at no extra cost. I booked 3 Northern LIghts tours with them and each night they found a beautiful, secluded place, where we could relax and watch the NL and get some incredible pictures. I went on a few other tours to compare and Northern Sole Adventures is no comparison - they are top notch!

Perfect Aurora Trip

The tour was perfect! We really enjoyed the guidance of Bogdan and Lucas, they made the whole trip comfortable and enjoyable. When the lights appeared we also got some really nice pictures. In comparison to other tours we took, we did regret not booking a tour with them twice. Thanks guys!

Northern Soul Adventures is an excellent choice for experiencing the northern lights in Tromsø! Our guide, Fede, was amazing—he even drove us all the way to Finland to find clear skies and ensure we could see the aurora. The tour was incredibly well-organized, complete with warm soup, hot drinks, and even heated insoles for our shoes. Plus, they provide stunning photos of the northern lights the very next day! I’m so glad I booked this tour with them—thank you, Fede!
