Overview

Meet your Prosecco wine expert in Venice and start this relaxing experience in the countryside. Along the way you'll see local Prosecco grapes, luxuriant and fascinating vineyards and the beautiful hills that are part of the UNESCO patrimony. Enter the Prosecco valley and reach the first traditional winery. Here, the winemaker will tell you about the story of the family-run production and, during a tasting session, you'll discover the fresh and elegant flavors of this wine. To complete the experience, you'll also enjoy a light lunch with typical and seasonal products of the area. After taking some beautiful pictures of the hills and vineyards you will depart to see the second winery where you will meet the producer who will tell you about the Charmat method to create the Prosecco and learn about the history of this famous and fruity wine. After the visit, enjoy a second wine tasting session and compare the aromas of the wines.

The guide will be in front of the restaurant "Al Vinatier" holding a yellow sign with "TOUR" written. To arrive to the meeting point please follow the directions to "Piazzale Roma". The restaurant is in a corner of the main square.

During your trip you will pass by the original region of Prosecco, Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, a magic area of small town and expanses of vineyards . You will visit a traditional winery to learn all the secrets of Prosecco production and have a guided wine tasting, then you will stop in a traditional location for a light lunch with some typical dishes and local products.

Amazing day out with the most lovely people!

We expected that this may be cancelled due to down season, but even though we were the only guests for this slot, the tour went ahead, which was great! Even in pruning season, this tour was fun and informative and the views from the hills are stunning. Everybody that we met was absolutely lovely. I would definitely recommend! Lovely day in prosecco country

We had a terrific day with Laura touring the prosecco wine country northwest of Venice and visiting two family-run wineries. We learned a bit about the grapes, the growing process, and the work of turning the grapes into wonderful wine. We had two lovely wine tastings! Laura was a friendly, informative and enjoyable guide. She is from the area and obviously knows it like the back of her hand, so she drove us through really beautiful country! The whole day was very fun and satisfying.

Amazing tour with delicious lunch!

The tour was beyond expected! It was just my fiend and me because the other couple canceled. Therefore we had loads of time for little detours which was amazing. We even got to look at a very nice piece of nature. The hills are very beautiful and the two different wineries were absolutely stunning. It was interesting to get new knowledge about prosecco and the different ways to make it. The lunch was simple and delicious, it contained different local meats, cheeses and homemade bread. At the the second winery we got watermelon and crostini with tomato and peppers. Sebastian is an awesome guide and I would definitely recommend booking a tour with him!

Sebastian was a great guide in helping us learn about the history and the current evolving world of Prosecco wine. The two wineries we visited were amazing based on the contrast between tradition and modernity and the different styles of the wine makers. Truly an amazing and unforgettable tour of the region.
