If you're traveling on a cruise ship docking in the port of Trieste, this shore excursion is perfect for you! We'll pick up all passengers (optionally with their luggage) directly at the Trieste port and whisk you away to the enchanting city of Venice. In Venice, we'll take you on an unforgettable journey. For disembarking passengers, we'll store your luggage securely while guiding you through the city's most iconic locations, such as St. Mark's Square and Rialto. You'll be accompanied by your knowledgeable and passionate local guide throughout your exploration. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to experience the magic of a world-famous gondola ride. To ensure your utmost comfort, our tour includes boat transfers, allowing you to avoid the crowds and excessive walking over Venice's many bridges in the summer heat. At the end of the tour, we'll bring you back to your ship or your stored luggage, leaving you with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

You will be greeted at the cruise ship port and shown to a modern, comfortable, and air-conditioned bus. Your professional driver will then transfer you through the beautiful Italian countryside. The journey takes roughly 2.5 hours.

After your journey you will arrive at the bus parking outside of Venice, where you will be greeted by our professional, experienced certified Venetian guide. For disembarking passengers: your luggage will be securely stored whilst we take you on a tour of this fairy-like city and its stunning canals. Small private groups are taken directly to Piazzale Roma instead.

Piazzale Roma

From the bus parking we will transfer you to Piazzale Rome, where our adventure begins. This is the closest cars are allowed to come and once you walk across the first bridge the charm of this timeless island quickly becomes apparent. From here, we will whisk you on a luxurious water taxi to the heart of Venice: the St Marks Square.

Next you will see the famous Rialto bridge, and stroll the bustling Rialto market, where locals go to buy fresh produce.

Piazza San Marco

Our next stop will be the breathtaking San Marco Square - the most famous and only "Square of Venice".

Basilica di San Marco (Pass By)

Your guide will show you the mosaics adorning the ancient Basilica and its clock tower along with the Campinale (Bell Tower).
Doge's Palace (Pass By)

Another highlight of our tour will be the famous and extraordinary Doge Palace, which for over 1000 years served as the White House and Pentagon for the region.
Piazza San Marco

Next, we will finally experience the highlight of this tour: the world-famous gondola ride!

Please note this is mostly a walking tour and it is not suitable for passengers with mobility difficulties. Our shorter, “Introduction to Venice" tour, is a moderate activity, whilst the longer "All-in-One" tour is a bit more strenuous.
Please bring some change in EUR for toilet stops, beverages and for lunch. Please ask our tour guide in Venice to arrange for a stop at an ATM if you do not have EUR with you. US dollars are not accepted in Italy.

Amazing and relaxing private tour in Venice

Vexperio customer service is amazing . Our tour was cancelled last minute by another company and we only had one day in Venice . Magda from Vexperio made things happen for us in less than 24 hr notice . She contacted guide and drivers and gondoliers for us and our experience was amazing . We were treated like a royalty , driven in a private vehicle from Triest to Venice by Darko and met with our amazing guide Sebastian who showed us around Venice without rushing and at comfortable relaxed path with plenty questions answered . We even stopped for lunch and did gift shopping . And of course private gondola ride was unforgettable experience . When we got back from the tour our driver was waiting for us to take us back to our hotel in Triest . Highly recommend this tour if you have limited time and would want to see and do things efficiently .

Gondola ride. Rialto bridge. Nice stop for a drink. And of course our wonder guide Claudia I can’t say enough about how wonderful Claudia was. She interacted well with our daughter and son in law but also was aware of my husband’s difficulties with stairs. She really knew Venice and tried to keep us out of crowds as much as possible.

Incredible day in Venice- our guide Natalia took is all around the city and shared so much information. She was wonderful. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The car service picked us up as soon as we got off the ship in Trieste and drove us to Venice. Very easy.
