For the Venice portion of the tour, you have a choice between booking our walking tour, or our deluxe version that travels with a private boat and gondola. Choose the option that fits you best and see the most famous sights such as the Rialto Bridge and market, the Basilica and the Doge's Palace. At the end of the tour, we will bring you back to your stored luggage help you get to your next destination.

You will be greeted at the cruise ship port and shown to a modern, comfortable, and air-conditioned vehicle. Your professional driver will then transfer you through the beautiful Italian countryside. The journey takes roughly 2.5 hours.

From Ravenna we will bring you directly to Piazzale Roma. This is the closest cars are allowed to come and once you walk across the first bridge the charm of this timeless island quickly becomes apparent. You have the option between choosing just a transfer to Ravenna, a transfer with a walking tour, or our premium deluxe tour with water taxis and a gondola ride. Our walking tour will start here, taking you to the heart of Venice, and passing many of its stunning canals and bridges. Our deluxe tour picks up with a beautiful water taxi, which will transfer you directly to the heart of Venice - the St. Mark's Square. On your way you will pass by some of the most iconic parts of Venice, which your local tour guide will point out to you and explain.

During your tour you will see the San Marco Square - the most famous and only "Square of Venice".

You will also have some free time do some shopping and more sightseeing, or walk with our tour guide over to the Rialto bridge and market. Here you will learn about the lives of traders who after a successful day on shore would re-embark on their merchant vessels docked at the port.

See the lively Rialto market where tourists and locals alike go for fresh fish and produce. You will have the opportunity to browse Venetian delicacies, get a snack, drink and go souvenir shopping. From here you can also marvel at the enchanting Rialto Bridge - the first bridge built on the Grand Canal.

At the end of your tour you will return to the Piazzale Roma where we store your luggage. Our tour guides and hosts can help you take public transportation or arrange a private taxi for you to go to your next destination, whether it will be the airport, train station, or a hotel. Exploring Venice in a day!

We enjoyed this excursion in Venice. It was wonderful being picked up right at the cruise port in Ravenna by Fabio and driven to meet our guide Octavia. No stress and absolutely comfortable transportation. Octavia was very informative and took very good care of us the entire day. As we only had one night in Venice it was nice to see the sites and learn a lot of history. We also enjoyed a gondola riide and learned a little more history of Venice before going to get our luggage that was stored in the van. Super convenient and easy. Before saying goodbye to our wonderful guide she gave us perfect walking directions to the Radisson hotel in Venice. Where we had another amazing experience there. Highly recommend paying the extra for this tour and enjoy a stress free way to explore Venice in a day. Thank you Octavia and Thank you Viator.
