Overview

We start our trip from Kalantos leaving behind the gold sand, heading East to Rina’s cave. We paddle in a relaxed pace exploring the interesting geology of the area, the pure Cycladic scenery and the turquoise water. Along the way we stop off at small beaches ideal for swimming, snorkeling and cliff jumping away from the crowds, and enjoy the personalized attention of the guide on a small-group tour. Duration of Kalantos Sea Kayak Day Trip is approximately five hours, two and a half hours of total paddling and another two and a half hours on the beaches, swimming, snorkeling and having snacks and coffee. Later in the evening, full of nice pictures we return to our starting point for a last swim!

    Rhina Cave lies close to a pristine bay with crystal-clear azure waters. It is located in the area of Kalandos, in the southern part of Naxos. The cave is home to bird nests, while the adjacent spring offers refreshing water. Its roof features stalactites, which birds and bats use as shelter.

One of our best experiences in Naxos! This tour was amazing. The team was phenomenal and made sure everyone was taken care of at all times! The lunch was so simple and filling that I am still thinking about it. It was a great time. Highly recommend!

What a thrilling experience; kayaking the sea! Our guides were licensed, experienced, and FUN, besides being natives. I felt safe and thrilled the entire time we were together. Just imagined though , the sea and caves were topped off by the impressive lunch made from scratch, our guides put together before our eyes - Who does that ? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️from me…… and then made hot coffee? Nothing but the best Thanks Manolis and George - memorable

I can't say enough about this company and this experience. The winds were intense so we had the option to do a different route which we all opted to do. We paddled a bit, stopped to swim and have snacks, paddled some more, got to swim in a tunnel, paddled more and got to paddle into caves and the had leisurely lunch and nice conversation before heading back. All told we were out for 7 hours. The guides were lovely and knowledgeable and took safety seriously. It was a bargain for the price too! Highly recommend!

An amazing day! Wonderful guides who are generous in their time and knowledge. A very relaxed, unrushed day full of beautiful views and lots of laughter. The food was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend!!!!

We were booked for the Rina cave tour with Sea Kayak Naxos. They notified us that the weather (wind) wasn’t ideal for that itinerary. We decided to do the trip anyway and do the Moutsouna route. No regrets! We were in Greece for 11 days and visited 4 places and we both said this was the best excursion we did the entire 11 days. Christina was amazing and communicated well with us. Our guides, Manolis and Antonis, were the BEST! They took us so many beautiful places. They explained what we were seeing. We visited multiple caves. They made sure everyone was safe. We had swimming and snorkeling breaks. Our meal was fresh, authentic, and tasted amazing. They took tons of professional looking photos of each person and the scenery throughout the trip then send a link to download them for free after the trip. The gear for this trip was well cared for and quality equipment. I cannot say enough good things about this trip. I HIGHLY recommend this trip and going with this company. I do a lot of traveling and this was top notch. Even if your itinerary will be different, go anyway! I can’t wait to come back and go with them again!
