Aokigahara Forest

Jukai-"The sea of trees" We call the forest as the sea of forest because it looks like the sea if we see it from the view point. One of the biggest eruption of Mt.Fuji happened about 1200 years ago and created the place! Let's experience the dynamic mother nature around Mt.Fuji!

Wonderful tour around Mt.Fuji with an amazing guide

We booked the tour from Germany, to see the nature around Mt.Fuji during our first Japan trip. (11 days) Yuki (our guide) was so amazing! He knows everything and all places around Mt.Fuji (like the Shrines,the Lakes,the woods). At the beginning we don’t see Mt.Fuji (covered in clouds) but when we get on the trekking-route, the clouds slowly gone and we had a great view from the viewpoint to the Mt.Fuji and the lakes around. (wonderful place!) I just recommend this tour and the guide! One day, when we are back in Japan/Tokyo area, we will do it again! Thanks Yuki, it was wonderful!

Yuki gave me and my aunt an amazing tour around Mount Fuji! He picked us up at our hotel, and showed us the 5 lakes surrounding the mountain while sharing a great deal of local knowledge. He took us on a small hike to a lookout spot, and we got an incredible view. Although the weather was not ideal, we still had a great time, and learned a lot. Yuki is incredibly well prepared, and even brought us each a pair of waterproof hiking boots. He is a very kind, knowledgeable tour guide. Next time I’m in Japan, I will be contacting Yuki for another tour. Thank you Yuki!
