Come and see why Hokusai painted 36 different views of Mount Fuji! Join us on a private walking tour in the Yamanashi Five Lakes Area. The tallest mountain in Japan is surrounded by five lakes with beautiful natural scenery. Explore the shrines in the area and taste Houtou or Yoshida Udon, the local noodle dishes of the area. Pick up a bottle of Yamanashi wine or some fresh fruits to enjoy after your tour! Once your reservation is made, a Government Licensed guide will be in touch to plan your personalized tour. Choose 3 to 4 spots that you wish to visit and your guide will plan a personalized itinerary. If you do not know where to visit, ask the guide to send you their recommended itinerary based on your interests. We hope to guide you soon!

  • Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway

    Mt. Kachi Kachi Ropeway (ć‚«ćƒć‚«ćƒćƒ­ćƒ¼ćƒ—ć‚¦ć‚§ć‚¤) is located next to Lake Kawaguchiko, and it runs to the summit of Mt Tenjo. From the top, an amazing view of Mt Fuji, Lake Kawaguchiko and the surrounding area can be seen.

  • Chureito Pagoda

    Chureito Pagoda (åæ éœŠå””) is part of the Arakurayama Sengen Shrine in Fujiyoshida City, and the most popular photo spot of Mt Fuji. The famous view of Mt Fuji, the five storied red pagoda and cherry blossoms can be seen in early to mid April usually. In Cherry Blossom season, please be aware of long wait times to see Mount Fuji and the Pagoda. Recent years have required visitors to line up and wait upwards of an hour to see the view. Viewing time is about 3 to 5 minutes only.

  • Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine

    Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine or officially called Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja (åŒ—å£ęœ¬å®®å†Øå£«ęµ…é–“ē„žē¤¾) is a Shinto shrine located the north side of Mt Fuji between Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka. The picturesque shrine is surrounded by rich nature.

    Narusawa Ice Cave (é³“ę²¢ę°·ē©“) is a 153m lave cave located in the Aokigahara Forest. Visitors can walk through inside the cave, and there are ice pillars and ice wall that can be seen all year round.

Spectacular day tour of the Mt. Fuji area

May-San is personable and a very knowledgeable guide. He was willing to listen & customized the tour to our liking. The 8 hour excursion with May exceeded our expectations. We are also blessed with beautiful weather. The view of Mt. Fuji from the Twin Terrace was spectacular! His recommendation for dining was delightful as well. I strongly recommend the hiring of May-San as your private guide for the day.

Incredible tour guide, incredible scenery, incredible value

The tour guide, May, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of Kawaguchiko as well as any questions we had about the area/Japan as a whole. The tour encompassed several areas of kawaguchiko that we had not known about or seen before. All stops on the tour came with immense amounts of knowledge and history provided by May. We were able to see Mt. Fuji on a beautiful clear day in November (Picture attached) and walked away feeling like we got the best possible value for our money. Highly recommend and am grateful for the experience we had.

Great Experience

Michio was an incredible guide! He took us to 5th station, the Mt. Fuji cultural center, and a sake tasting and was very helpful throughout the entire experience. He provided both great conversation in english and was also able to communicate our needs in japanese to local staff in order to create the best experience possible. When we missed our bus and it started pouring rain, he called the company to get a ride for us. Overall, it was a great tour and I would definitely recommend.

Excellent tour. Cindy met us at our hotel and gave great advice about which locations would work best for us. We visited the Chureito Pagoda and springs at Oshino, both of which were beautiful. Would definitely recommend.
