We had a great experience touring New York City with Jonathan. He's a great tour guide and he made it very memorable and enjoyable. Working with Yoko and Xavier was a wonderful experience and made our trip to Japan so much more meaningful. I took my two teenage sons (and a friend) as a graduation present and traveling as a single mother, I was very nervous before the trip. Xavier was responsive to all of my questions, helped us build the perfect itinerary with everything we wanted to see (Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima), and was such a pleasure to work with every step of the way. Once we landed in Japan, I was in as much contact with Yoko as I needed and their guides were amazing! They helped us feel comfortable exploring on our own and showed us so many things that we would have never experienced without them. I highly recommend Private Tours Japan. When we return (there is so much more to explore) we will definitely be contacting Yoko and Xavier to help us!

Perfect tour company. Xavier and Yoko planned 9 day/8 nights tour of Tokyo/Kanazawa/Kyoto/Osaka. They mapped out all of the trains/drivers/guides and worked with them over email for hotels/activities. Some highlights were visiting multiple distilleries/sake/Samurai exhibition with the "Kill Bill" choreographer, Shibuya Sky, Fish Market, Kappabashi Street for high end knife shopping. We had guides at all of the cities and for a first time trip made everything very smooth. There is really so much to do and they were excellent partners in this. They even created our own website to show the daily plan. We didn't have to do much except wake-up and get ready to go! FIVE STAR!!
