We can say that with 10 years of experience in the Gerês National Park we know that sometimes the best tour is a personalized one!     08h00 - 08h30 Pick up at your accomodation in Downtown Porto 10h00 - 12h30 Arrival at the National Park Visit a Waterfall or Laggon - swim and enjoy nature - short walk (avg. 25mins each way) 12h30 - 14h00 Tradicional lunch at a local restaurant 14h00 - 17h00 Get to know a typical village by preserving their cultural heritage and be part of our reforestation project (avg.30mins) Visit a Waterfall or Lagoon - swim and enjoy nature - short walk (avg. 25mins each way) 18h30 - 19h00 Drop off at at your accomodation in Downtown Porto *This itinerary can be adapted to physical limitations, or special requests regarding times and activities requested

Waterfall in the snow.

We went on a private/custom tour led by Emanuel in March 2024, two parents age 57 and our son, 23. The weather forecast was terrible but we had no flexibility on the date and wanted to see the mountains. Emanuel was our guide and he was wonderful, made all the right decisions, and was super knowledgeable about plants, animals, the land and the people. We did not expect to be hiking down to a waterfall in the snow during our Portugal spring vacation but that's what happened. Highly recommended.
