Overview

The Ochudo (trail) is an ancient trail of about 25 km(15 miles) for hiking around the 5th Station and was used as a training path for Mt.Fuji worship. It is said that only people who ascended Mt. Fuji three times were allowed to walk this trail. Now we can enjoy walking on the part of the trail 2.5km (1.5miles) and seeing pine trees, the peak of Mt. Fuji and the spectacular view of the world below! The trail has only gentle slopes and it takes 1.5-2 hours so the tour is a perfect option for the people who want to experience Mt.Fuji casually. We offer free rental equipment so outdoor beginers and tourists who don't have own outdoor gear are welcomed!

    You can enjoy the best combination of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt.Fuji on sunnydays.

  • Mt. Fuji 5th Station

    This is the entrance for peoplo who climb up Mt.Fuji. It is the most popular of the four 5th stations on Mount Fuji and the best developed station. There is Komitake shrine which is an ancient shrine built more than 1,000 years ago. Let's start the tour after praying for the goddess of Mt.Fuji!

  • Fuji Subaru Line

    This is the road to reach for the 5th station of Mt.Fuji.

  • Okuniwa Nature Park

    Okuniwaso is a mountain hut which has japanese traditional atmosphere. We are going to have a lunch break here. They have original souvenir and great japanese food like Tempura,Udon and Soba. Okuniwaso is also well known to the place where we can enjoy bird watching.

    Once, only people who had climbed Mt.Fuji more than 3times are allowed to walk on Ochudo-trail for pilgrimage. Now only 2.5 km(1.5 miles) is open because of safty issues but we still can enjoy the dynamic view below our eyes!

Guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Was fun and enjoyable experience with him. Lot's of cultural exchange, easy to converse with and with the weather was able to come up with alternative solutions for the itinerary.

Yuki has an amazing spirit. Mt. Fuji is truly his happy place and he shares all his knowledge and chi with you. He paces the tour for you. Yuki speaks excellent English. Bottom line BOOK THIS TOUR!

Fun and Easy Trip to Mt.Fuji!

I signed up for this tour because I didn't have the time or energy to climb all the way up to the top of Mt. Fuji. As a result, I am very satisfied! The scenery was breathtaking, and the path was relatively flat, making it very easy to walk. I was able to see majestic Mt. Fuji, and the guide, Yuki, explained the history of Mt. Fuji in detail, making it a wonderful memory. It was a tour where you could enjoy authentic Mt. Fuji, even though it was really easy to go!
