Really enjoyed this tour, learned a lot and felt like was walking and eating around town with a local friend! Wished I had done it when I first arrived as I learned a lot about the food.

Private tour of Historical Oaxaca City

Our guide, Luis, was excellent. He spoke perfect English and was very friendly. We walked through the historical center of Oaxaca and Luis explained the significance of every site. In addition, he suggested stores and museums we might want to visit later. We had a very pleasant morning and highly recommend this tour.

Informative and interesting tour

My wife and I had a tour with Luis of the centro historico area of Oaxaca. As it was just us on the tour we had plenty of time to ask questions and hear about the history of the area, places to shop, and restaurant recommendations. Luis was engaging, speaks English well and clearly likes his work. We found it to be a very good tour to take upon your arrival in Oaxaca to get a good overview of the city and places to go back to for a more in depth look and places to go back to for shopping.

We had a tour from Luis, who was fantastic. He took us around the city, predominantly the old town. He showed us important monuments, historical churches and buildings. He explained everything in perfect English while also providing local recommendations for lunch and dinner. We ended up using these recommendations which we would not have seen online. (La Popular is great).

I’ve been to Oaxaca and am interested to learn more. This tour did that. I learned a lot and found out about some hidden gems in the city. I highly recommend this tour especially if you are new to the city. Our guide was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly and very accommodating. It’s not a long tour, but a good place to start. Highly recommend.
