We recently went on a nic3 bike tour of Oaxaca's street art with Diego, from Coyote Adventures. Although Oaxaca's traffic can be perplexing, the tour company provides a lead rider as well as another rider who stops car traffic to help the group cross safely as needed. The street art is wonderful and the explanations fascinating. The company sent an e-guide the day before, which provided excellent explanations of the neighborhoods that were to be featured and spots we would be stopping at. We didn't get to go to all the spots listed in the guide, which was a bit disappointing, but the stops that we did make were great: art studio, tejate, and more. In spite of the heat, Diego took time to provide explanations. One detail: not enough of a chance to ask questions. Diego is passionate about responsible and educational tourism; we appreciated his honest appraisal which gave us food for thought. For a free street art guided walk, I would supplement with Oaxaca By Locals which features even more murals and additional context.
