Felix was our driver for the day. He’s was very well informed on the sights he took he is to. The petrified waterfall was incredible but the walk back up on a hot day was not for the faint hearted. Mitla Archeological site was very interesting our guide though was very difficult to understand. We loved Tule and the tree. We were amazed by the textile co-op where all the colours come from natural products from the land and plants and insects. Felix was very accommodating to our needs and would highly recommend this company

It was an amazing private tour to all the artisan towns near Oaxaca. We met families in Oaxaca that made alebrijes, black clay, textiles. All beautiful crafts. The guide was great! He gave us all the details of the elaboration of these lovely crafts. The guide was very knowledgeable, and he waited for us to shop around and see everything. The artisans and masters we visit, were really nice. They were so happy to show us their beautiful crafts. For lunch, we stopped at a delicious restaurant where they were making fresh tortillas. It was an amazing experience!

Perfect option for private tour of sites outside Oaxaca City

We had an incredible time on this full-day private tour visiting sites outside of Oaxaca City. Our guide and driver, Félix, was extremely friendly and we really enjoyed talking with him and learning more about life in Oaxaca. Starting with a pickup at our hotel in Oaxaca City, the tour took us to Hierve el Agua (stopping for a delicious breakfast on the way), the ancient Zapotec city of Mitla, an ancestral mezcal distillery, a multi-generational family rug workshop in Teotitlán del Valle, and finally the Tule Tree, before Félix dropped us back at our hotel. This was one of Oaxaca Conmigo’s recommended itineraries and it was perfect for us, but they also offer fully customizable options if there are specific sites you want to visit.
