    Augusta Street Arch is often thought to represent the grand entryway into the biblical Solomon’s Temple. Standing in a prominent position in Praça do Comércio, all of the symbols on the Arch serve to remember and celebrate the varied history of Portugal while glorifying the rich cultural icons of the land.

  • Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco) (Pass By)

    Previous site of the Royal Palace, devastated in 1755 by a earthquake, is now one of the biggest enclosed plazas in Europe.

  • Casa dos Bicos-Museu de Lisboa (Pass By)

    Originally built in 1521 is a great example of the 16th-century architectural style of Lisbon. Today, it is the headquarters of the José Saramago Foundation, which is dedicated to the works and message of the only Portuguese author to have won the Nobel Prize for Literature so far.

  • Museu do Fado (Pass By)

    The Fado Museum preserves and exhibits the legacy and cultural influence of Fado, the traditional Portuguese guitar-led music style.

  • Alfama (Pass By)

    The 2nd oldest neighbourhood in Europe with streets that still bear the Arabic influence that characterised the city. Alfama is one of the most-visited and iconic districts in the city as well as one of the most popular with tourists and photographers.

  • Panteao Nacional (Pass By)

    Set in the alleys of the ancient Alfama district, the building you can admire today took over 280 years to build. It is the resting place of many Portuguese heroes.

  • Feira da Ladra (Pass By)

    The Feira da Ladra is a traditional open-air flea market held every Tuesday and Saturday in and around the Campo de Santa Clara for locals and tourists alike.

Bia is an amazing tour guide! She is very kind, knowledgeable and professional. She speaks English almost perfectly fluently, and was able to answer every question I had. The destinations visited on the tour are incredible, and the tour is well structured around significant buildings. Overall, it was an amazing experience that I would happily recommend to friends!
