Take the gondola from Grindelwald Terminal and change at Eiger Glacier station to the cogwheel train up the Jungfraujoch pass to arrive at Europe’s highest railway station. Soak up a stunning panorama of snowcapped Alps, spot the longest glacier of the alps, and walk through the one-of-a-kind Ice Palace!

Interlaken (Pass By)

Head to the Outdoor Interlaken Shop in the late morning to meet your guide and board the coach. Sit back as you travel through the magnificent Jungfrau region to the famous mountain resort of Grindelwald.
Grindelwald Terminal (Pass By)

Board the gondola Eiger Express of the newly opened V-Cableway for a spectacular ride to the Eiger Glacier station, where you change to the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch. Stunning views of the world-famous triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau accompany you on the way and the imposing Eiger North Face seems to be within one’s grasp.

As the Jungfraujoch is covered in snow all year round, we recommend bringing a warm jacket, shoes with a solid rubber sole and sun glasses to experience all indoor and outdoor attractions. Please note that there is no possibility to rent clothes or shoes on top of the Jungfraujoch.
Routing and means of transport may have to be amended during maintenance work and depending on seasonal schedules without prior notice. A minimum stay of 2 hours on the top of Jungfraujoch is always guaranteed.

My wife and I were very excited about this tour and it totally delivered on all counts. It’s the perfect introduction to the pristine Alpine beauty of Switzerland experienced through travel through pretty little villages and towns by coach and then riding up the mighty Jungfraujoch by the Eigerexpress cable car and the cogwheel train. Our guide David was amazing, informative and very considerate. He gave us some great background about the development of the Swiss railroad during the coach ride and then gave us ample time to enjoy the different experience at Jungfraujoich such as the glacier and the ice palace. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get introduced to the Swiss Alpine beauty before taking a deep dive into it.
