Overview

Truly unique guided kayaking tour on the beautiful Lake Brienz. From your kayak, you are surrounded by snow covered mountains which reflect beautifully on the mirror-like water. Escape the crowded ski pistes for a while and join us in this peaceful and magical environment. Our top end equipment will keep you warm and dry during the tour. The session lasts 3 hours of which we spent around 2 hours on the water. What’s included: experienced sea kayak coach, small group sizes (from 2-6), top quality sea kayaks, paddles and top end Palm Bora drysuits, poggies and booties, as well as photo package.

You do not need previous kayaking experience, but you must be able to handle a kayak on your own.
You should bring warm clothes to be worn under the dry suit: Thick socks, thermal bottom top and a thin jumper. Extra layers if very cold, sunglasses, sunhat, cream (you never know), change of clothes in case you get sweaty or a bit wet.
Children 15 and younger are not allowed.

Our drysuits feature latex gaskets at the wrists to prevent water entry, while the neck area is protected by a neoprene material called Glideskin. The views were amazing. Don’t worry about a camera! Our guide Chris took great photos of our group! Chris was very helpful and taught us about each kayak we had. The Dry suits kept us warm and comfortable and you have access to lockers for valuables. Chris also gave us some facts about the lake and directions for a special dinner afterwards! He even treated us to tea and biscuits on the lake! Very fun experience!!

My father and I went together to do the activity, and it was an incredible experience!! We were very lucky with the weather, even though it was cold, the sun was shining, and the dry suits they provide really protect you from the cold, so you can enjoy yourself comfortably no matter how chilly it gets. Our group was a bit larger, so we had two guides with us, Karol and Patricia. Both of them made the experience even more unforgettable... they truly know how to create the perfect group dynamic. They took photos and videos throughout the activity and were always ready to answer any questions we had. My favorite part was when, in the middle of the lake, we all gathered the kayaks together, and Patricia brought out tea and cookies to share. Can you ask for anything better than warm tea and cookies in the middle of Lake Brienz in the heart of winter?? It’s truly an experience to recommend, with very friendly professionals. I’m already looking forward to coming back! :)

What can I say - our tour with Karol was absolutely fantastic! Such a knowledgeable, kind and funny guide with a pretty chilled personality..perfect for an afternoon tour on the serene waters of Lake Brienz. My friend Haley and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and at no point during this trip felt worried about the icy waters beneath us! Danke, Karol!
