Overview

Launch yourself off the 90-meter-high platform and experience weightlessness for only a split second before dropping into an epic freefall over the rushing white water of the Lütschine river. You’ll swing between the narrow gorge walls at 120km/h before slowing down, looking up, and thinking “I want to do that again.” This high-thrill Canyon Swing in Grindelwald is one of the boldest, most heart-pumping adventure activities in the Swiss Alps.   • Glacier Canyon - Gletscherschlucht (Pass By)

    Sadly the lower glacier no longer exists, but the canyon itself is now thriving as a popular destination for a unique sensory walk through its exposed rock galleries and tunnels. The rushing water cascades freely from the mountains into the Lütschine River below, sometimes causing a sudden rush of wind through the canyon and a rapid temperature flux as rays of light reflect along the steep walls.

Timmy and Michael were fantastic guides to go with! They kept things fun while also informative of what we were seeing and doing. Although it was a bit snowy, this was such a fun experience that I’m glad I took part in.

This was the most exhilarating experience!! It definitely makes your heart race and everything in your body is saying get away from the edge, but then you just jump. The fall feels like forever but the adrenaline is insane! The guides were super friendly and went over the entire process and safety briefings thoroughly - I had complete trust in them and they provided a truly unforgettable experience. Book the swing - you won’t regret it!

I have been wanting to do this for a few years. On this trip I made the time to do it. I’m just some dude out here surviving brain cancer so better it done while you can. This experience did not disappoint!!!! Stepping of the ledge and free falling for a few seconds will definitely take your breath away. Then as you swing through the canyon you wanna do it again. I promise the next time I return to Interlaken this will get back on my agenda!!!! The staff were most excellent and super friendly!!!

My wife and I booked this as part of our anniversary trip. We stayed in Interlaken, right next to Outdoor's base of operations, and they bussed us up to the site of the swing, which made things very convenient. Martin was our Jump master, and he was spectacular. Would absolutely do again. The accompanying photo/video package is well worth it.

My wife and I did two activities with them 1) Canyon Swinging 2) Via Ferrata Mürren The lady at the Interlaken Center was very helpful. She kindly answered all our questions. 1) Canyon Swinging - Recha and Nik were amazing. Recha kept us engaged till the jump and helped us calm our nerves (well me mostly, my wife was jumping in excitement) 2) Via Ferrata Mürren - Well, only three words - DONT LOOK DOWN! (seriously) Our first time doing ANY Via Ferrata and we certainly knew how to pick the craziest one out there! Hans was our guide and he was simply amazing. Very friendly, kept joking and always paid attention to everyone in the group. All in all, the Outdoor team is certainly doing a good job and making adventure activities in Switzerland enjoyable and safe! Cheers to the team!
