Itinerary

  • Pinhao

    Depart from Porto in the morning 8:00am after pickup from Meeting Point or accommodation. Your guide will introduce themselves. The journey starts towards Douro as you will learn more of the region on the way. Then continue on to Heart of the city Pinhão more Touristic place & admire the majestic scenery with free time to explore the lovely & prettiest village independently. Perhaps stroll to the Pinhão train station, built in 1879, to view its blue-and-white tile murals depicting the scenic countryside and Pinhão features swathes of vineyards, and houses climbing up the slopes that make up the Douro landscape. Then more or less 10:00 AM you will enjoy the Douro River Boat ride with refreshing Port Tonic wine on board, hop aboard a boat for an hour leisurely ride. Meander up the Tua River tributary and pass by Quinta da Romaneira before returning back to Pinhão. We will also make small stops for taking pictures and admire the surroundings and nature at local viewpoints during the day.

  • Quinta da Roeda

    After finished Boat trip we will pop into that Romantic wineries on the agenda for the day before lunch. That prettiest winery named Quinta da Roêda Panascal here you will excess to the vineyard with professional guide & taste different types of Port Wines,cheese, the extra virgin olive oil with snacks and very special welcoming Drinks & Cocktails. For an authentic vineyard experience, you will visit Croft’s famous estate, Quinta da Roêda, in Pinhão, in the heart of the Douro Valley.There you’ll have a tour you’ll taste their wines ( ports and wines)The visitors’ centre is housed in the former stables of Quinta da Roêda, which have been carefully restored in the traditional style of the Douro. All over the day you will taste more than 14 types of wines. After that we will proceed to our Stunning view point than second winery &Traditional Lunch. His generous is the perfect setting to taste the famous Croft Port wines gives you the opportunity to browse in the shop for local products.

    Double viewpoint De Loivos ,Miradouro de Casal de Loivos is, indeed, one of the best viewpoints in Douro Valley, but given everything.BBC declared this view point 7 wonders Considered one of the most beautiful view points on the Douro,from here you can admire the river peacefully flowing while downhill you watch the village of Pinhão being embrace by the river that gave life to the village has a meeting point to board on the old times the barrels that carried the Port wine to it's aging place in Gaia. This veranda looks out over Pinhão and the open, curving Douro valley. Right next to the village cemetery, the views take in some of the most beautiful landscapes of the entire Douro demarcated wine region. There is the imposing Quinta das Carvalhas in front with the Roêda estate down below. Here you will get big surprise as well as.

    More or less 2:00 pm ready to enjoy for traditional Lunch cooked on Fire in typical House in Douro valley,That is the hub of tourism space in a rural environment, housed in a building dating from 1735. A perfect place to traditional food, rest and enjoy a countryside environment that surrounds it & enjoy everyone very Exclusive Chefe Lunch. After finished Lunch departing the Douro Valley for the relaxing return drive to Porto, arriving at your hotel in the evening. Be back to Porto close to 6:00 PM, certain of having had a memorable experience full of knowledge about the wine, the landscape and the local culture of this beautiful and unforgettable destination.

  • Sao Cristovao

    The viewpoint of São Cristóvão do Douro is located in the Douro Region in the county of Sabrosa. This site is considered a must stop, it has a stunning view over the Douro Valley, also sung throughout the entire work of the great poet and writer Miguel Torga. when we walk down or up from Sabrosa to Pinhão, or Pinhão to Sabrosa, stop in São Cristóvão, and open the mouth in astonishment." Miguel Torga in "Portugal".We will stop here 10-15 minutes and than proceed to Traditional Lunch in traditional village.

  • Amarante

    This is a beautiful little town with great views of the river and the surrounding areas.You can taste the Vinhos Verde very famous in that region with traditional cheese & traditional breads. The bridge is a must see and after crossing the bridge, there is an awesome cathedral. You can see the market, next to the cathedral, which one was open on specially weekends. This is a great place to visit for pictures and very central to the city. You have to come to take pictures. Very historic as well as Napoleon's troops tried to take the bridge back in the early 1800s and a major battle ensued.

Friendliest, most caring Tour guide ever!!

I would give him 10 stars if I could! Krishan is one of the most thoughtful, genuinely caring and extremely courteous persons we had the pleasure of having as our tour guide in Douro Valley and Porto. He has an impeccable luxurious vehicle, stocked with every imaginable amenity. He drove us from Lisbon airport to Porto and we spent 2 more days touring the city and then driving back to Lisbon. He literally treated us like family.. and that’s an amazing feeling when you’re away from home in a completely foreign land. He came highly recommended by a friend who had previously used his services, and we could not be happier! I would recommend him in a heartbeat! He’s your go-to person!

Krishan made our trip to Porto, so very memorable. Not only is he knowledgeable, and a great photographer he is also very kind , caring and punctual He was always making sure we were comfortable in his amazing van and enjoying his homemade treats ,which were fabulous. He treated us like family. Would highly recommend him the next time you are in Porto, if I could give him 100 stars I would.

Krishman our driver was exclent. Very kind and friendly. We went from Porto to Lisboa with stop in Coímbra and Fatima. The van was great, confortable and clean. We had delicius food and drinks. The experience was amazing. I recomend this great service.
