We had an absolutely amazing experience on our private Nikko tour with Hussain. From the very beginning, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. We had Nabeel as our tour guide two days earlier for a tour of Kamakura, and he was fantastic. To our surprise, he was also our guide for a Nikko tour. It was such a pleasure to have him again, and he was just as accommodating as he was during our previous tour. Nabeel took us to all the popular tourist spots, as well as some hidden gems off the beaten path. We even ended our tour at a robot restaurant, which was an amazing experience. I highly recommend spending a day with Nabeel as your tour guide; he will not disappoint!

This private customized tour of the Nikko region is a great contrast to the expansive urban center of Tokyo. A drive into the mountains north of Tokyo opened up the quiet serene splendor of the mountains. On the way to Nikko, there is a stop for a ropeway taking you to a 1300 meter observation deck for an aerial view of the Uriam Falls. Nikko contains Lake Chuzenji and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the gateway to Nikko National Park. One not to miss stop in the Park is Kegon Falls cascading from Lake Chuzenji, where you take an elevated 100 meters down to the base for incredible photos and videos of its beauty! Included in Nikko area are an abundance of temples and shrines, is the Futarasan Shrine and Rinoji Temple complex, a World Heritage Site, all set in the midst of conifer forests of beech, oak, maple and cedar trees. As you visit the multiple adorned buildings and the beauty of the Shoyoen Garden in this setting, you can appreciate the importance of this site to the Japanese people and travelers alike. Hussain as our guide was very professional, and he shared information that helped you understand the significance of the setting of Nikko culture and history of knowledgeable about the city and surrounding areas. Importantly, he was fluent and easily conversed in English and could have conversations in Japanese if further interaction with staff at the sites was necessary. Hussain was very personable, polite, considerate and did what was necessary to make our tour even better as the day progressed. Nikko is a must see experience when visiting the greater Tokyo area!!
