Discover the wonders of nature on the Ria Formosa and be amazed and dazzled by this fragile and complex ecosystem considered to be one of Portugal's seven wonders, a place to be visited and preserved. On this tour you will have the opportunity to observe the Natural Park of the Ria Formosa navigating through its channels. You will walk on white sands and sail through the calm waters of the Ria Formosa. We will have a lovely stop on a desert island where you can have a swim, relax and walk on the beach with wonderful white sand. Then we stop at one of the island communities. Can be Ilha do Farol or Ilha da Culatra. Throughout the tour the skipper will give a detailed explanation of the entire Ria Formosa, its fauna and flora and its fishing activities.

Ria Formosa Natural Park

Navigate through the calm waters of the Ria Formosa with a skipper on board who gives you all the explanations about the Ria Formosa, the fauna and flora, and the fishing activities. We make 2 stops to be able to relax, swim or walk a little.

Culatra Island is a very typical and genuine village of mostly fisherman that inhabit the island all year through, with lots of interest and cultural aspects.

With the biggest inlet of water of all the Ria Formosa and being near the cape of Santa Maria, the most southern point of Portugal, these island has an extremely beauty marked by its imposing lighthouse.

Highly recommend!

Our whole experience was great. We arrived one hour early for our trip- just making sure we knew where to go! And Maria? Was so helpful giving us suggestions of things to do in Olhão while we waited. The boat excursion was excellent - the boat was very comfortable and safe. We were able to sit in the shade. Lunch in the village was exceptional and our skipper (Joao?) was really knowledgeable, friendly and gave us a great overview of the fishing/farming industry and fab recommendations at the restaurant. Highly recommend this tour.

Sabino tour was the best thing we did in our holiday. Joao was our guide and he was very informative, friendly and great fun. The boat was amazing as the front opened up so Joao could literally dock on the beach it was such an experience. This was a great trip. Thanks Sabino and the amazing Joao

Our host Maria is a mine of information and helpfulness, I cannot recommend her and this trip more. Learn about the history of Olhao and visit it's islands.

Two superb boat tours

Ricardo was our captain for a 3 hour tour, so good we returned for the 5 hour later in the holiday. He is really knowledgable about the strenuous farming activities across the natural park but keeps it balanced. Really professional. Comfy, squishy chairs which is a real boon for the older clientele. Iced water on board. Also he can reserve you a lunch table at Cultura… the best clams ever! Fantastic boat tours. Thanks Ricardo.

Nice experience - valuable 3 hours tour

4,5 everything perfect. well balanced tour but beach stop for swimming a bit short 30 min more would be perfect. Nice size of boat Joao the sailor is sympathizing and skilled. Feel safe. Nice experience. i recommend.
