Overview

Hello, everyone! We're the only ones walking the trail between the top of Benagil beach and Marinha beach. Come and walk with me on the trail of the seven hanging valleys. Pets are Welcome !!!! The adventure begins in Benagil where we start the 1.15-hour walk along the beautiful trail of the seven hanging valleys, visiting the top of Benagil beach and the top of Benagil cave. I make a few stops along the way to take some fantastic photos! We continue on to the cliffs of Marinha beach. Where you can find the beautiful photo of the Titanic, the heart and the bridge. The cliffs and Praia da Marinha are one of the 40 most beautiful beaches in the world! Included in the Michelin guide. Stop for 2h00 of beach time. Enjoy snorkeling and relax in the shade of a parasol provided by us. Finally, visit the chapel of Senhora da Rocha, built on top of a cliff! An ancient building! A rare beauty! The beauty between the green of the pine trees, the brown of the cliffs and the green of the sea!

We had a fantastic day with Sebastião who was a brilliant guide that is truly passionate about the area and culture. We explored beautiful beaches and caves while learning about the local Fauna & Flora, culture and cuisine! Would highly recommend booking your tour with Algarve Sensations and we hope to be back to explore on the paddle board next time!

Benagil Caves with Algarve Sensations from Faro

What a fantastic way to spend a day! Our guide Claire was very passionate and informative of the geology that formed the caves and the area. The 2-hour stop on Marinha Beach was slightly disappointing however as the fog came in, and also the main beach was largely cut-off because of the high tide, which made the initial smaller section rather crowded (obviously not the fault Algarve Sensations!). Stout walking shoes are also recommended, as the terrain is rather challenging in places for the less able and ill-equipped. A thoroughly enjoyable day and highly recommended.

The views were amazing and our guide Claire was very knowledgeable, funny and extremely patient with my partner's 14 yo daughter who has ASD. I loved the passion Claire had when she was explaining the formation of the caves and how lovely she was pointing out the best places for photo shots. We had a lovely time for 2 hours at the beach and also did snorkeling. Definitely worth the money. For those travelling with children who have autism/learning difficulties just ensure you let them know in advance about the itinerary because this is something my partner did not do and only realised it towards the end of the tour
