This tour includes basic payment at Tsukiji Outside Market. In addition to the sushi course, you can choose from a combination of your choice from Japanese sake, strawberry Daifuku, egg omelet, seafood, Japanese tea, and dashi. These are typical Tsukiji delicacies. If you feel like having more, you can buy them as a personal expense. The tour also includes other fun things to do in Tsukiji, such as visiting famous temples, and seafood markets, and shopping for tableware and other items.   • Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple

    A Japanese temple with an oriental atmosphere, featuring an exterior modeled after ancient Buddhist architecture in India and other Asian countries, stained glass windows at the entrance to the main hall, and numerous animal sculptures.

  • Tsukiji Jogai Market

    The fish market has supported Japan's food culture for 80 years since its opening, with more than 400 stores lined up in a seamless row, selling a variety of products including fresh seafood, knives and other cooking tools, sushi, sweets, soup stock, and sake. Your guide, who knows Tsukiji inside and out, will take you on a tour tailored to your wishes. Some tastings and actual food will be provided.

  • Tsukiji Fish Market

    A shopping center with specialty stores selling fresh seafood. Buyers from culinary establishments also visit to buy. Visitors can get a close-up look at Japan's unique seafood, and if the timing is right, they can even watch a tuna dismantling show.

  • Namiyoke Inari Shrine

    The shrine is located in a corner of Tsukiji Market. Fishermen and market workers pray for safety. You can see a unique lion statue.

  • Tsukiji Jogai Market

    The tour concludes with a real sushi lunch. We will take you to an authentic sushi restaurant, which many of our guests have said is the best sushi they have ever had.

Best Afternoon In Tokyo!

We wanted to see the Fish Market but thought a guide would enhance our experience. Signing up for this tour was the best thing we ever did! Ariel, our guide, was so much fun, so well informed, with unlimited enthusiasm for showing us her city! She knew so much about culture and history, and was just welcoming and lovely and fun! We could have spent days with her and been happy. It was great to try so many food samples and top it off with a full sushi lunch at a tiny local sushi bar (which we would never have found on our own!). If you are considering this experience, don't hesitate, you won't be sorry!

Fabulous Tour and Out-of-This-World Sushi Experience

My son and I toured the Tsukiji Market with our guide, Ariel. She was fabulous! We learned lots and really enjoyed interacting with various merchants with whom she’d built fabulous relationships. To cap our tour, we had the most amazing sushi prepared by the chef right in front of us - easily the best sushi we’ve ever eaten! Highly recommend this tour!
