Itinerary

  • Viajes Colibrí Yucatán TOURS

    This is the first meeting point where we pick up travelers for this tour. Departure from here is punctual at 08:00 am (with a maximum tolerance time of 10 minutes). Later we go to the next meeting point which is the Santa Ana park and we finish at the third meeting point which is the Fiesta Americana hotel. Before leaving Mérida we stop at a store to buy water and snacks for the road. Once we have everyone on board and after making the stop at the store, we begin our journey to the first point of this incredible tour. The time to get to the archaeological zone of Uxmal is 1 hour and a half on the road.

  • Zona Arqueologica Uxmal

    Be surprised with the first stop in the archaeological zone of Uxmal through a guided tour that will help us learn the secrets of this wonderful place, we will walk through structures that highlight the Puuc style of the area, and that contain mysteries and legends.

  • Zona Arqueologica de Kabah

    Later we visited the archaeological zone of Kabah in the company of the guide, known as the second largest religious center of the Puuc style. Declared a State Park since 1993. The oldest reference to this settlement is the one that appears in the Chilam Balam of Chumayel.

  • Restaurante Halach - Huinic

    Enjoy a delicious typical meal. Here, the 1-hour stay in the restaurant to eat, you are provided with a three-course meal to choose from (starter, main course and dessert).

  • Choco Story uxmal

    The last stop is the interactive chocolate museum, better known as Choco Story, where the history of the ancient cocoa is recovered: from its origin, distribution and uses around the world, to showing its ancient Mayan preparation methods, all of this through various cabins. Mayans distributed in the reserve. In addition to the tour of the museum, you can visit the botanical gardens with cocoa trees and complement it with a tour of the animal shelter, where you can admire endemic fauna that has been rescued. At the same time, you can visit the meliponary and a play area for the little ones.

  • Viajes Colibrí Yucatán TOURS

    We finish this tour at the same meeting point where we picked you up in the morning, starting with the last one which is the Fiesta Americana hotel and ending at the Viajes Colibrí office. The travel time back to Mérida is 1 hour from the museum.

An incredible day

This was an eye opening trip. Uxmal and Kabah are two of the most stunning archaeological sites we have visited and are not to be missed. The Chocolate museum also exceeded expectations and was really very beautiful and informative. We had a full bus and were all very satisfied at the end of the day. Thanks so much to our guide!

Excellence. On time Victor was an excellent guide. The time is perfect in both places. The Chocolate Story is ok. Uxmal and Kabah are two Maya jewels. I recommend the tour !!!
