Expect places that are off the beaten path To complement the taco feast, we'll indulge in a taco and beer pairing session. As the night unfolds, we'll conclude our adventure in a Mezcalería, a venue dedicated to the ancient and intriguing spirit known as mezcal. Join us on this journey, and let the allure of tacos, unveil the authentic essence of Mexico's culinary tapestry.

Itinerary

  • Playa Olas Altas

    Leaving our meeting point, we will head towards Olas Altas, one of the oldest and most emblematic areas in our port, to reach our first taqueria and craft brewery.

  • Mazatlan Cruise Port (Pass By)

    We will pass through Bonfil Park where you will be able to appreciate the largest shrimp fleet in Latin America and understand the culinary traditions of shrimp in Mazatlan.

  • Monumento al Pescador

    We will continue our journey to our next vendor where you will eat one of the most popular tacos in Mexico, Taco al pastor, where we will explain the true origin of this taco.

  • Malecon de Mazatlan

    After savoring the wonderful flavors of the taco al pastor we will drive along the beautiful Mazatlan malecon until we reach our next destination where you will see the process of cooking our carne asada tacos and handmade tortillas.

    We will continue our culinary adventure to try one of the most representative tacos of Sinaloa, then head to our final destination the Mezcal bar where the resident mezcal master walks you through the tasting of traditional mezcal, exploring the sweet, smoky, floral, and herbal flavors of the pre-Hispanic drink.

The taco tour was such fun and so educational. Paola is very knowledgeable, friendly, and shares the secrets of the culinary world of Mazatlan. Very personable, she is an expert and entertaining guide to the local cuisine. Highly recommend it!

Paola was amazing and very knowledgeable with the culture and the food. She took us to the best food only the locals know of! Taught us how it is made and the history of every dish! She took extra time to show us the beautiful city and because of her I have fallen in love with Mazatlan! She made for an incredible experience! Highly recommend and will keep in contact for future trips!!
