Overview

This is the perfect out of town tour. Visit two villages to see their local activities and lifestyles, La Noria and Puerta de Canoas. Learn of the old and current process of tequila at la Vinata where you will witness the equipment that was used in the 1800's to produce tequila and you will see the equipment currently being used. Also don't miss your opportunity to sample the product being made there. Then visit the villages of La Noria to see the handmade products being made. From there you'll visit Puerta de Canoas where the famous "Dancing Horses" are trained, with a great photo op with the horse before lunch back in Mazatlan. Was overall good, we had some random stops like looking at dancing horses at a private man’s house and then seeing ppls death spots which was odd(come to find out it was just time killers) the actual time at the Ranch really only 1 hr or so and I was slamming as much tequila as possible before we headed to lunch…which was in a really small town of 400 ppl but man was really cool and the food was great.

Our guide Jose did an excellent job and was very helpful/informative. The tequila tour was very neat and they explain the whole process. The best part of the trip is going to la noria. The restaurant that comes with the trip is not the best, I would recommend just paying for your own lunch at the best restaurant in town (La Abuela Tina) instead, get the combo molcajete. Lots of good shopping in town with handmade goods.

Dancing horse Seeing Mexico outside of the touristy sites Knowledgeable, accommodating, professional & engaging tour guide. Jesus’ was terrific . If you want a glimpse of Mexican life in addition to tasting the finest tequila, take this tour!
