Wonderful welcoming staff who were very informative about all the traditions. Although a little pricey, a lovely tea house, well worth it and i would highly recommend.

This was so fun to do with my daughter. Wearing a beautiful kimono and attending a tea ceremony was such a nice cultural experience. The teacher was so sweet and did a great job explaining all the meaning behind the ceremony! Wonderful!

Taste of Japan and sample of Zen

We went as a group of six family members and friends from 14 years old to 60. The hosts were excellent, and made the whole experience memorable (and were very calm and professional when one of us knocked over the tea!) The sweet-making workshop is fun (maybe go in with an idea of a shape of small sweet you would like to make). The tea part is more a participatory guide through the ceremony rather than an example of the ceremony itself. We got some great photos in the garden in our kimonos.
