Have a chance to experience sumo wrestling Show for yourself and savor chicken hot pot and other Japanese dishes prepared by former sumo wrestlers. Watch live demonstrations by former sumo wrestlers and listen to bilingual commentary by professional moderator to learn about this iconic Japanese sport. If you want to experience sumo firsthand, the highlight of the event will be the opportunity to enter the ring yourself. Feel what it’s like to be in the ring as you have a go at being a rikishi, or sumo wrestler. *If there are many applicants, one representative in a group or a lottery may be held. As well as experiencing sumo, receive a photo with a sumo wrestler, and take home an original sumo goods set as souvenirs.

Itinerary

Enjoy a sumo show arranged to be easily enjoyed by adults and children alike. Learn the rules of Sumo and how to practice it, watch demonstrations, and then have a go at Sumo Show yourself in Asakusa, Tokyo. Enjoy Chanko-nabe (chicken hot pot) prepared by former sumo wrestlers. Also, original souvenir set and Photo! Children from 0 to 2 years old are free of charge, but no seat and meal is provided. 3 to 12 years old must apply at the child rate. "Vegetarian and Vegan meals are available, but must be requested at least 2 days prior to the reservation date. “We are not able to provide gluten-free, halal meals, but customers are welcome to bring their own.” *Wheelchair-accessible seating is limited, so please be sure to inform us at the time of reservation.
