Overview

This is an entry-level snowshoeing activity. We walk on the outer rim of the caldera of Lake Mashu with snowshoes. You would feel the dynamics of the earth and know the uniqueness of the area formed by volcanic activities. You could see frosty trees and diamond dust if the condition permits.

Meeting Point

If we pick you up at a certain place, you can find a blue subcompact car that has a roof rack on it. If you come directly to Kamuy Terrace, you can find us in front of the entrance.

End Point

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

Pickup Details

There are two options for how you get to the starting point. One is that we pick you up at a convenient place, such as your hotel, which is located in Teshikaga town, JR Mashu, or JR Kawayu Onsen station. Another is that you come directly to Lake Mashu Kamuy Terrace.
