Overview

You can train online via Zoom with famous Karate and Kobudo senseis from Okinawa, the birthplace of Karate. The senseis of the programs are carefully selected from among high ranking senseis, and the content of the training and the Karate styles can be tailored to the participants' needs and preferences.

Itinerary

This is an online Okinawan Karate and Kobudo training experience program provided by Ageshio Japan Co., Ltd., a travel agency specializing in Karate tourism. Ageshio Japan is located in the birthplace of Karate Okinawa, and is a recipient of the national tourism award. You can connect to Karate and Kobudo Dojos here in Okinawa via Zoom, and have live training sessions with famous Okinawan Karate and Kobudo high-ranking senseis. Training is one hour long, and the language used is either English or Japanese. The content of the training can be tailored to your needs and preferences.

A memorable experience!

I had a great experience. Carlo responded quick and scheduled a class for me at the Dohjo in Naha. Something I could not have done on my own. He guided me during the class, as I'm not provicient in Japanese and sometimes missed some details of the instructions. Luckily, Carlo has karate experience so he could give me some extra trips or translate what the sensei was saying. Alltogether, it was a memorable experience and highly recommend when you are in Okinawa!

It was an honour to be part of and it did not disappoint. From the training to the guided tour of the island and history. The only point I would give to anybody making the trip is to get familiar with the opening times of some of the amenities but there will always be something available somewhere. Ryukyu Kobudo Shimbukan seminars

Thanks to Ageshio for bringing Akamine Sensei from the honbu dojo to our dojos all over the world. The seminars are well-organized and packed with great detail. This instruction has been invaluable to us during covid, while we can't travel back to Okinawa to further our training. Each seminar is better than the last one. Thanks again to Kaicho and Ageshio!
