You will begin your trip from Bergen train station, train will take you from Bergen - Voss, there you will jump on a bus.

From Voss you will travel by bus to Gudvangen, here you will board a ferry to travel on Sognefjord

In Gudvangen you will board a ferry, 2h majestic ferry from Gudvangen to Flam

You will arrive to Flam, here you will be able to have lunch and shop for souvenir.

Myrdal

From Flam you will travel to Myrdal by train - Flamsbana - A train journey unlike any other. This marvel of engineering takes you from the fjord to the mountain top as it climbs from Flam at sea level to the mountain station of Myrdal 862 metres above sea level.In Myrdal you will have to change trains and continue your travel back to Bergen

The scenery was pure magic

This trip was magic. We were a bit hesitant about it being self guided. But all of the information, instructions and tickets provided made it very easy to follow. We traveled by train, bus, boat and then train to get back to Bergen where we started. The trip took about 10 hours from 8:00am to 6:15pm. We were kept fascinated with never ending views at each turn. Each one seemingly better than the last. We even saw the tvindefossen waterfall while on the bus leg of our journey. So beautiful. We couldn’t stop taking multiple photos of each highlight, thinking the light or change in angle gave a better shot. I think we are all guilty of that. The whole trip went flawlessly which is a credit to the organiser. We highly recommend you taking this trip. You’ll love every bit of it.
