You will start your day with a tour of the city including Leopoldskron Palace, Hellbrunn Palace, the best viewpoint in Salzburg and more. After exploring the baroque city of Salzburg you will travel to the "Salzkammergut" lake district, on your way to Hallstatt you will enjoy beautiful sights such as the Fuschlsee, St. Gilgen with the Wolfgangsee, Bad Ischl and finally Hallstatt, a very unique lakeside village with 7000 years of history.

Schloss Mirabell & Mirabellgarten
Start your Salzburg city sightseeing with a visit of Mirabellgardens, also used for many scenes during 'Do-Re-Mi' in the world-famous movie Sound of Music.

Continue with the old town of Salzburg, passing Mozart’s residence, Mozart’s birthplace. The top highlight in the old town is a stop at Salzburg's best viewpoint. Your private guide will point out all the must-visit spots from there.

Schloss Leopoldskron
A little bit south of the city center, surrounded by an artificial lake, is located the rococo palace Leopoldskron was used by the Prince Archbishops of Salzburg. In 1964, when the film Sound of Music was filmed in Salzburg, 10 outdoor scenes were filmed here portraying the von Trapp Family home.

Schloss Hellbrunn
The next highlight is Hellbrunn Palace. Hellbrunn was used as pleasure palace by the archbishops of Salzburg. It was used as a place for celebration, for pleasure, and rehabilitation by the prince archbishops. The bishops used Hellbrunn as a holiday domicile with a huge park and trick fountains.

Rosewood Schloss Fuschl
Make yourself comfortable in your comfortable touring vehicle and experience the beautiful landscape that the famous ‘Salzkammergut’ lake region has to offer. After a short drive from Salzburg you’ll reach the castle of Fuschl. Capture a picture of the castle of Fuschl with the emerald-green Lake Fuschlsee as its backdrop.

The next highlight is Wolfgang Lake and the villages St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang. Capture a picture of St. Wolfgang from a great view point before arriving at the next town, in Bad Ischl. The drive will take you through Bad Ischl, which is famous for the “Kaiser” (Emperor) Villa.
