Long Day, Great Time

Great tour, but be warned it is a long ass day. Great being in a small group. In my case there were only 5 of us which was great. Roman the driver kept throwing in a few key bits on information along the way to keep us going which we enjoyed. The guide in Salzburg was full of energy and knowledge. Thoroughly enjoyed the free time as well before the return trip to Vienna.

From the start, our driver/guide Belage (spelling?) was tremendous as he was friendly, accommodating, and informative. He doled out fun facts about Vienna, Austria, the Sound of Music and we even got some history lessons. Every stop was well coordinated and we had ample time at each one (although we would have like to have stayed at Sankt Gilgen longer since it was such a picturesque Alpine Village). At Salzburg, we met Maria, a local who was our guide through the town. She was a sweet lady who gave us great insights into the city, its history, and the Sound of Music. It is a long day, but definitely a tour that was well worth it!
