Let us take you out for an unforgettable day. Following the Von Trapp story, we will visit several movie locations of the "Sound of Music". This includes a short city tour, the pond the children fell into, the 16-going-on17-gazebo and of course the wedding church. Your enthusiastic tour guide will give you lots of information about the filming of the Sound of Music, the real von Trapp family and Austrian culture and lifestyle in general. On this tour, we will also take a detour through the Austrian lake district to visit the UNESCO world cultural heritage site Hallstatt. You will learn about the fascinating story of this salt mining town and get 2 hours to explore this picturesque village on your own. Hallstatt and Sound of Music tour

Incredible views! We saw places we wouldn’t have seen on our own. Our guide was very informative and helpful. There was one other couple on our tour and we traveled in a van vs a bus full of people on the other tours. She told the story of the Sound of Music and how it contrasted with the real life Von Trapp family story. Drove us through scenic small towns on the way to Hallstatt and the way back took a different route. Highly recommend this tour!

Excelkent tour guide. Beautiful sights to see. Would highly recommend. Hallstatt was a great addition to the tour. The small group tour was so much nicer than a large group.
