Overview

In this tour, you’ll visit one of the Japan's largest wooden sake brewery buildings and enjoy a pairing lunch featuring sake made there and seasonal ingredients from the Chita Peninsula. This brewery has a rich history, operating for over 200 years until it closed about 20 years ago. In 2021, the ninth-generation successor revitalized it, and created a space for food, sake, and events. Your experience will include a tour of areas that is not accessible to the public, a sake tasting experience, and a delightful pairing lunch, giving you a complete taste of the brewery's offerings.

What To Expect

1. Approximately 10 minutes to the sake brewery from Kamezaki Station. 10 minutes

2. You will tour the facilities with the staff who work at the brewery. An English-speaking guide will also accompany you. 1 hour

3. You will enjoy a pairing lunch of sake and seasonal ingredients from the Chita Peninsula. There’s also a mocktail pairing available, so you can enjoy it alcohol-free as well. 1 hour 30 minutes

4. At the sake brewery, you will enjoy a sake tasting experience. 30 minutes

5. Approximately 15 minutes to Kamezaki Station from the sake brewery. 15 minutes
