Tiene la prerrogativa de ser el primer templo suntuoso que bajo buenos diseños se hizo en América, consagrada en 1649 se adelantó a la Metropolitana de México que fue dedicada en 1653. Fue fundada por Felipe II de España.

This was a wonderful experience! Karla, our tour guide did a great job. Her English was wonderful, she gave us a true history of the city and adapted everything to our interests. Definitely a must for a first visit to Puebla.
