    A small village located in the heart of the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site in northern Portugal known for its stunning landscapes, terraced vineyards, and world-renowned wine production. The village is situated on a hilltop overlooking the Douro River and is surrounded by steep slopes covered with vineyards.

    A small village in the heart of the Douro Valley. The village is known for its spectacular panoramic views over the Douro River and the surrounding vineyards, which have earned it the nickname "belvedere of the Douro". From here you can enjoy a landscape full of vineyards. In addition to the vineyards, other elements such as mountains, fields and villages stand out. The rich fauna and flora also stand out in this location.

  • Pinhao

    Situated on the banks of the Douro River and is surrounded by terraced vineyards that produce some of the world's finest wines, including Port wine. One of the main attractions in PinhĂŁo is the PinhĂŁo Railway Station, which is famous for its beautiful azulejo panels depicting scenes from the Douro Valley. The Douro Valley is known for its delicious traditional cuisine, including dishes made with fresh, local ingredients, such as grilled fish, olive oil, and smoked meats.

    Optional - A renowned winery located in the Douro Valley known for its high-quality Port and Douro wines. The winery is part of the Symington Family Estates, a family-owned company that has been producing wine in the region for more than 130 years. During the tour, visitors can taste a range of the winery's wines, including its renowned Vintage Port, which is made from grapes grown exclusively on the estate.   • Ponte Pedonal Metalica de Peso da Regua (Pass By)

    The metal bridge was built in 1872 by King D. LuĂ­s I for road crossing of the Douro River and was deactivated since 1949 due to the state of degradation of the wooden board. The initial project belongs to engineer W. Liebe, and was later changed by engineer Johann Gaspar Harkort and the construction work was under the guidance of German engineer Wilherm Dulhener from the Eifel team.

Awesome Douro Valley Tour

This private tour exceeded expectations, Ana made it easy with very good communication and it was very well organized from the beginning. Our driver Carlos was the best as he went out of his way ta make sure we had an awesome experience, he was very knowledgeable about wine and in particular the port making process, several unforgettable stops along the way ending at Sandeman for a great tour and port tasting. We would definitely use this tour group again, I cannot think of anything that would have made it better.

The Douro Valley is stunning and a must-see if you are in the area. Our driver Delfina was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable of the Duro Valley and drove the mountains area as if she had memorized the roads. The van was very comfortable, and the ride was smooth. The roads are very curvy in Douro, so keep that in mind if you get carsick. Our tours ran long, and Delfina allowed us to stay longer than our day planned for. The red wines are not as fully body as I prefer in comparison than those from the Daos region, but that did not detract from the visit at all. Delfina and her team made the trip very enjoyable.

A fantastic Douro experience

This was our third trip with Carlos and he definitely does not disappoint. From fresh bread from a local bakery to a delicious lunch in the most beautiful surroundings at a Quinta. We had been to the Douro before but Endless Weekend put together an itinerary that was new and different, including watching a river cruise go through the dam as well as wine and port tasting. We plan to return again in the future and will be asking Endless Weekend to put together another itinerary for us. Would definitely recommend.

Carlos was an excellent & knowledgeable guide that made sure we that a fantastic time in the Duoro Valley ! To add to our wine tasting experience he also translated to us a tour from Portuguese to English (as we had to take that due to time constrain. The lunch recommendation was perfect for us. All communication with the company slit the tour was prompt. Thank you, Carlos for a memorable experience!!!!!!
