Itinerary

  • Sintra National Palace (Pass By)

    Before starting our visit, we will taste the delicious Queijada de Sintra in the oldest pastry shop in the village. Then, we will head towards the top of the mountain passing by the emblematic National Palace of Sintra, where we will be able to see the famous chimneys. Brief history.

  • Palacio e Parque Biester (Pass By)

    Passage through the Biester Palace, famous for having been the scene of the movie Nona Porta, starring actor Johnny Deep.

  • Vale dos Lagos at Parque de Pena

    On our wonderful ascent through the Sintra mountains, we will pass through Vale dos Lagos, where we will make a brief stop to enjoy part of the Pena Palace garden, panoramic view of the Moorish Castle. Here we will tell you a little about the history and legends of our Romantic and beautiful village of Sintra. Excellent point for photographic record.

  • Castelo dos Mouros (Pass By)

    Passage through the entrance of the castle walls. With a Muslim foundation, Castelo dos Mouros occupied a strategic and fundamental position in the defense of the local territory and maritime access to the city of Lisbon.

  • Park and National Palace of Pena (Pass By)

    At the top of the mountain we will find the pearl of Sintra's crown, the romantic Pena Palace. With its bright and warm colors, at the top of the mountain, it takes us to a world of legends and fantasy.

Very very amazing experience. Pablo made us feel as if he was with us/one of us instead of just a tour guide. Stopped at places here and there and Pablo would show us around & explain some history. He had many great ideas of things to check out so he was perfect for us. Gave us recommendations for future restaurants, things to do, etc. 11/10

Pedro delivers fantastic tour of Sintra

My wife and I are touring Portugal with another couple. By chance we met up with Pedro to drive us up to the Palace via tuk tuk. He greatly enriched the ride with multiple stops explaining the history and culture of Sintra. We enjoyed Pedro so much we booked him for a tour down to Colares the following morning. I highly recommend booking Pedro! His passion for the area comes through with the stories he shares - rich stories that combine nature, the arts, and knowledge.

Fun family time in Sintra

What a fun experience especially with children! So many beautiful views with history and information along the way. Rana was an amazing guide who made sure the tour was just what we needed for our family (and he was a great family photographer!!). Would highly recommend.

We didn't really know what to expect when we booked - we simply wanted a tour of Sintra and some of its sights. We were not disappointed. Our tour guide (Svenji/Sevnia) was superb! She was so incredibly knowledgable and passionate about Sintra and Portugal in general. She was funny and made us feel completely relaxed and at ease with our first ever tuk-tuk ride! We would highly recommend!
