8. Sharjah Fort - Al Hisn

It was supposed to be destroyed by the Sheikh Khalid bin Muhammad Al Qasimi in order to destroy all reminders of his predecessor, but a timely arrival of the Sharjah’s current ruler Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi saved the remaining ‘Al Kubs’ tower.
