Meeting points
We will meet in Piazza Giovanni Grandi in Argegno in front of the church.
Once you reach the meeting point, send a WhatsApp message or call and we will open a gate for you. After check in you can reach the pier. I recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the experience.

Itinerary
Argegno
We will start from Argegno, a small village in the middle of the first basin of Lake Como, famous for being the film set for the films Murder Mystery and Mr and Mrs Smith. and we will head north.

Isola Comacina
We will then reach the Comacina island, the only island on Lake Como. For those who wish, between the island and the eastern coast of the lake there is a bathing canal where you can swim in complete safety.
The island is famous for the fireworks which commemorate the ancient fire of 24 June 1169.

We will be able to admire the medieval bell tower, perhaps the most characteristic of the whole lake, with its unmistakable shape.

Villa del Balbiano - Complesso Architettonico di Ossuccio (ante 1778)
We will then reach Villa del Balbiano, an architectural complex of rare beauty.
Also known for being the set of the film House of Gucci, Villa La Cassinella, set of the TV series Succession.

Villa Del Balbianello
We will then reach the beautiful Villa Balbianello, historical museum and set of the films Star Wars episode 2, and 007 Casino Royale.

Once past the villas we will be able to admire the Gulf of Lenno, also called the Gulf of Venus

Villa Carlotta
We will then reach Tremezzo, where we will be able to admire not only the most renowned hotels on Lake Como but also Villa Carlotta, which can be visited on request. Entrance to the villa requires a ticket and reservations are recommended.

We will then reach Menaggio, with a truly impressive and evocative long lake, very popular during summer evenings.

We will just touch Bellagio and admire the Spartivento tip, the point of the lake that divides the two branches.

We will head towards Varenna, the village of lovers. Wonderful village nestled in the lake.

Villa Monastero
We will then see Villa Monastero, an evocative 16th century architectural complex, which was once a convent for Cistercian nuns. Today it is one of the main tourist attractions, with its house museum and botanical gardens which host many plant species. It is possible to visit the gardens by booking in advance on the villa's website

Going south on the eastern shore of the lake after the visit to Bellagio we will come across Villa Melzi, a characteristic botanical garden with villa, statues and paths along the lake.

We will then pass by the village of Lezzano, a fishing village and builders of racing boats who won the world championship in powerboat racing in the 1950s

We had one of our favourite days on Lake Como. Pietro and Frederico amazing and very flexible to take us where we wanted. We were warmly welcomed and shown the most beautiful spots on the lake. This is definitely a tour you don’t want to miss!

Frederica and Pietro were the best guides ever!
They were very accommodating to the weather and brought us blankets since it was cold on the lake. They took us to all the famous places and took pictures for us. We love history so they were able to give us facts about every villa and important historical landmark. I highly recommend this excursion if you have time! We did two hours and it was plenty of time to hit major landmarks and take pictures.
