Overview

Enjoy Lake Como landscapes by bicycle, explore characteristic villages of our region and discover vineyards in the near Switzerland. This itinerary is 25 km long with few climbs made effortless by Ebikes. Tour start and ends in Como city; after riding north by the lake for approximately ten minutes and crossing Villa Olmo park, we will reach Cernobbio town where we will take a chance for a nice lake view picture. We will resume the ride through the citadel and after more lake view landscapes we will reach Moltrasio, a typical village built in stones. Time to head to Switzerland and cross the border! We will end up in a Swiss Merlot vineyard where your guide will tell you interesting stories about local wine production. We will then return to Italy toward our starting point on the cycling lane by Lake Como. *Itinerary may vary depending on group ability. Distance: 25 km - Elevation Gain: 300 m - Event Time: 2.5 to 3 hours from meeting time

Itinerary

  • Villa Olmo (Pass By)

    You will cross Villa Olmo park to proceed the ride on the cycling lane by Lake Como.

  • N/A

    Reaching Cernobbio village we will stop for a lake view picture in the main square by the lake and resume the ride through the citadel.

  • Moltrasio

    In Moltrasio town after riding through the village center you will take a visit to Cam Waterfall and its natural pool.

  • Il Giardino della Valle (Pass By)

    Pass by Cernobbio botanical garden at about one half of the ride.

  • Vacallo

    You will end up in a Merlot vineyard after crossing the border with Switzerland where your guide will tell you some interesting stories about local wine.

  • Lungolago da Como centro a Villa Olmo

    Few minutes before ending your ride, get to know the story of Baradello castle and some suggestions for the rest of your day in Como city.

  • For safety, guests not showing confidence riding a bicycle will not be admitted to the ride. Evaluation is at discretion of the Guide. There is a no refund policy in the unlikely event a guest is not admitted to the ride.

A bike ride to remember

Absolutely stunning views! Tour was just as described with biking around the lake and a brief cross to Switzerland. Easy check-in, and set up, and the bikes were high quality. Group of 10 moved at a nice pace and two guides one in the front and one in the back, assured safety. Several stops for picture taking including a waterfall. Highly recommend!

Mateo was the best guide ever. The ride was exactly what we were looking for. The e-bikes were comfortable and safe. We rode our way up to a waterfall with beautiful views of como and then into Switzerland. Mateo was able to give us fantastic context for the area, and the experience was a treat. Would absolutely take my friends back.

Fantastic tour through the hills of Lake Como! The tour guides were super knowledgeable of the area and made sure everyone felt safe on our ride! Definitely a great way to experience the Lake Como area. Their suggestions for local restaurants were great too! The bikes were in excellent condition and meeting location was easy to find.

We loved this tour! Max, Christina, and Lorenzo were all incredibly friendly and great guides for the tour. They did a great job keeping us safe and taking us to some beautiful spots! Our original tour was cancelled due to weather, but Max made sure we could attend the next day and moved everything for us. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! Absolutely would recommend.
