We highly recommend to check your route before traveling and find out the best way for you to get to the winery, the main ways to get there are with your own vehicle, by bus from Como or Lake Villages line C 1O (from Como - Stazione S.Giovanni, Bus stop in Domaso: Piazza Ghislanzoni) and with the Navigazione laghi that offers a ship service (not in winter season) which has a reduced number of daily departures, check the availability of the period of your experience of the fast-hydrofoils with stop in Domaso and buy your tickets in advance, in high season there is a lot of demand and long lines to buy tickets.

Wine tasting experience!

Superb winery location, perched on the slopes near Domaso town, with a fantastic view of the lake. The hosts were knowledgeable and friendly and offered an abundance of local produce to eat and a selection of wine to coincide with the wine-tasting experience.

Excellent Experience not to miss!!

We decided to visit Northern Italy and rent a car to get us to all our destinations, and it was the best decision ever. Getting to drive the local roads in the Lake Como area gave us an appreciation of the complex landscape and many, many tunnels through this mountainous region. This driving adventure included our trip to the Domasino Winery. The car navigation system took us on an unbelievable ride through single lane roads and bridges (and what seemed to be peoples backyards) to get to our destination. When we arrived, there was a small parking area on the left and a small cobblestone driveway to the right. My wife's sense of reason kicked in and said to park on the left. Good choice, since going up the driveway would have put us smack dab into tables of dining guests. We were greeted by Silvia, the daughter of the winery owners, and were quickly welcomed in. As luck would have it, we were the only ones on the tour, so our experience was personal and longer than expected. Silvia explained the wine making process to us, and provided samples of the different varieties available, along with breads, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, assorted meats and cheese, and a homemade potato cake that was delicious. We spoke about her life working at the winery, her brother the agriculture expert (grapes and olive trees). Then Silvia led us to the processing area to witness the wine making process, the wine cellar, and the bottling process. She told us the winery supplied the wine for George Clooney's wedding. We were given ample time to just sit and take in the beautiful views, which were spectacular! We purchased some wine and olive oil that was not available yet, but will be shipped towards the end on the year when the 2024 olive pressing was completed. We actually sat and watched Silvia's mom load the olives into her brother's truck... these would become the olive oil we would be receiving. Unbelievable! This was an extraordinary experience and one not to miss. Thank you Silvia!!

Great Wine and Great Time

Although we were unlucky with weather the day of our wine tasting, the wine itself, food, and atmosphere made up for it. The three wine courses were all great and had specialized snack/food pairings, our personal favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc. The winery has a great story and is family run and the daughter did an excellent job hosting even on such a gloomy day. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

Amazing experience at Domaso.

Just an outstanding experience. Silvia was incredible in explaining the process, serving us, and making sure we had an amazing time. If I could rate it higher I would. We also left an item at the winery and she was kind enough to ship it back to the states for us.

A MUST DO IN LAKE COMO

This experience was so wonderful in every way. I book this experience for my husband and I and another couple. We traveled from Cernobbio to Domaso for the "90 min" 1:30 tasting. We never ended up leaving the Winery until 4:30! Sylvia is AMAZING ! Her parents started this vineyard in the 1970s. It is the ONLY ONE in the region. It is a family run winery to this day!! Mom and Dad were there-they don't speak english but were so adorable. Sylvias Aunt and was cooking the homemade delicious tastings we enjoyed with our wine. The wine was great. The tastings were generously refilled. The VIEWS!!!!!! We honestly were made to feel so welcome-like old friends visiting. I very highly recommend this experience.
