    Now we will visit one of the New Wonder of the World. We will see firsthand the comparison between the untouched ruins of Yaxunah and the restored ruins of Chichen Itza. Our certified professional tour leader will tell us the stories, myths, and secrets of the UNESCO-protected archaeological site and we will become experts on the Mayan culture.

Family fun and learning

This private tour with our guide Frank was an amazing experience. If you appreciate supporting local community, going at your own pace and getting the history of the Mayan people and this region not found in books this is the tour for you. Yaxunah is stewarded by a community cooperative and they join the tour sharing their experiences. We got an extra treat being serenaded by our guide there in Mayan with an original song he wrote. Our driver Jose was attentive and both him and Frank matched our pace. I’ve been to Yucatán and Chichen Itza a few times and this has been my favorite tour.

Had an amazing trip with Daniel, our tour guide and Roberta, our driver. Daniel was very knowledgeable, professional and taught us a lot about Chichen Itza. The lunch was delicious, especially the pork tacos.
