    Start your day with a comprehensive tour of Nairobi, Kenya's capital city.The iconic 28-storey building is located along Harambee Avenue in the City Square of Nairobi. The skyscraper’s rooftop provides a 360-degree picturesque panoramic view of the city center and its horizons. Only then can one appreciate the beauty and complex pattern that it embodies. We will then proceed to the Nairobi view point on the recreational grounds of an ordinary Kenyan, Uhuru Park as we learn more on its historical significance to the Kenyan Nation-State. Chronologically will find our way into the Central Business District. As we walk, we will share tales told in real-time by your guide of the history of pre-independence Nairobi and post-independence Nairobi. We will walk through the city visiting different landmarks, including KICC, Kipande house, among others.

    After exciting beads factory tour, we will continue to utamaduni crafts center. The best African craft shop in Nairobi, Utamaduni is a must to drop into on the way to some of the exciting venues in Nairobi's green suburb of Karen/Langata, known for the famous writer, Karen Blixen's original farm with beautiful views of the Ngong hills. Incorporate a visit to this unique house of crafts on the day of your visit Nairobi. The shop, a converted Kikuyu house with 18 shops, is a treasure trove of African crafts, antiques and art, with friendly staff to assist and help pack or ship if needed. After shopping stop and have refreshments in the large, beautiful garden restaurant and if you are a bird watcher the many exotic birds will keep you entertained. After the blissful Utamaduni craft center we will proceed to enjoy and appreciate Kenya cultural heritage at the bomas of Kenya.

    After lunch(optional) we will proceed to experience the rich cultural heritage of Kenya. Enjoy the rich culture from the 53 ethnic communities in Kenya through traditional folklore dances, & a very informative session as we explore & visit the different homesteads to see for yourself the actual real life of our people. Bomas of Kenya mainly preserves, maintains and promotes the rich diverse cultural values of all ethnic communities. Daily performances include a selection of more than 30 traditional dances of the different ethnic groups in Kenya, and one of the most impressive performances is the Samburu and Maasai warriors. An amazing day in Nairobi

We had an amazing day with Melvin. He arrived on time and was kind, friendly and polite. Melvin was flexible and allowed plenty of time at each activity. His knowledge of the wildlife was impressive and he could answer all of our questions. His sense of humour was great too. We enjoyed every moment of our tour and would definitely book with Melvin at Rustic Nature Tours again.

Great Tour with Dennis!

Great tour with Dennis. He was prompt and arrived in a clean car. City tour was thorough and informative. Loved our individualized attention at the giraffe center with a local center guide. The visit to the bead/leather center was very moving in that these woman are flourishing in hardship conditions. Had a delicious lunch in a garden setting that was a nice break to a very full tour. Finished the tour off at the Bomas of Kenya. Loved seeing the tribal villages where we learned that the man’s first wife gets the biggest house. That was a fun tidbit. The cultural performances were colorful and lived the music accompaniment. Finished the tour off with Dennis getting us back to our hotel in time for our second tour. Great company and driver!

Our guide was great. He arrived on time and even agreed to modify our route to accommodate our request. Excellent place for lunch and everything was completed on time. Enjoyed Bomas show very much!

A MUST DO tour in Nairobi exploring the city!!

My husband and I had an amazing day tour with Denish when we visited Nairobi in June 2024. He picked us up early from our hotel at 8am and we had a day full of exploring the city, visiting Giraffe center, seeing cultural dances and learning about traditional Kenyan villages. We even stopped for souvenirs and lunch. Denish was so kind, patient, professional and friendly and he knew EVERYTHING there was to know about the city and history. We had such a great time on our tour. If you vist Nairobi this tour is a MUST if you'd like to see alot in one day. Ask for Denish and you have an amazing day guaranteed!
