Overview

Learn the basics of Japanese cuisine and how to make healthy and delicious Japanese home -cooked dishes from a certified chef. You'll get a hands -on training from a professional local chef. First you will learn how to make dashi, the essential foundation of Japanese cuisine, and about the ingredients used to prepare it. We will also teach you how to cook delicious rice using a regular pot. We will introduce you to various traditional Japanese cooking tools, such as suribachi (Japanese mortar), oshizushiki(pressed sushi mold). Using them is a truly enjoyable and unique experience. English recipes are provided ,so you can recreate the dishes even after returning home. For vegetarian or vegan guests please inform us when making your reservation. we can accommodate you with our Tofu course. Gluten-free options are also available with the Tofu course or Sushi course.
