1. Meiji Jingu Shrine Meiji Jingu shrine is one of the most prestigious and popular shrines in Japan. It is a Shinto shrine surrounded by a wide mannmade forest with a large gate called Torii. This shrine is dedicated to the Emperor Maiji and the Empress, Shoken. You can enjoy feeling the sacred, quiet atmosphere of the Shinto shrine. 1 hour

2. Imperial Palace The imperial palace is the residende for the imperial family. It is formaly known as the Edo castle. 1 hour

3. Senso-ji Temple Senso-ji Temple is a buddhist temple in Asakusa. It is the oldest and the largest temple in Tokyo. Kaminarimon, or "Thunder Gate", of the main gate of the temple is very famous as a landmark of Asakusa for its huge red lantern. Both domestic and foreign tourists flock to this venerable temple. There is a shopping arcade called "Nakamise" in the compound. It is a very good place to buy traditional Japanese souvenirs in Tokyo. 1 hour
