This trip's destination is Molokini, a crescent shaped crater a few short miles offshore from Maui. The water here is crystal clear and home to hundreds of species of fish. We'll get you fitted for snorkel gear and give lessons if necessary, then drop our ladder for easy access to some of the most incredible snorkeling in Hawaii.

We had a great snorkeling trip out to Molokini, thanks to Captain Brandon and his crew. We were fortunate that the whales were active that day, on the trip to and from Molokini. Brandon made sure to navigate towards them so we had great views of breaching, flipper waves and other activities. The snorkeling at Molokini is great, clear water, lots of fish, sea urchins, and interesting coral. On the way back the crew raised the sails and gave it a try but the winds were quite calm. But everyone enjoyed the quiet, taking in the amazing beauty of this place. I highly recommend supporting this small business.

This was a great trip, the weather was bad the 22nd so they called on 21st to cancel, yet was able to get in the 23rd.. All the crew were very attentive and nice! The food items were good, especially the GF cookies!! The best part we seen a whale do full breach! Plus, sing, then right by the boat!! It was a beautiful day!!

We booked this excursion last minute and all had a great time. The crew was fun, knowledgeable, and very approachable. The captain was able to locate several whales nearby and so we were able to see them swimming and jumping out of the water. We even got to hear the whales talking with a neat little device that was placed in the water. The sunset at the end of the trip was absolutely stunning. Definitely a must do while in Maui

Went whale spotting and then snorkeling with the Sail Maui crew, Brendan, Jade & Micah. Saw so many whales! The crew was very knowledgeable and so kind and helpful. They helped get us as close as possible while still respecting wildlife and Hawaiian laws. The snorkeling gear provided was actually nice and not terribly uncomfortable like on other snorkeling tours I've done. The boat was really nice, plenty of spots for everyone to stand or sit while whale watching and dry off after snorkeling. The food was great, and healthy too. The captain explained that whales can remember boats from their sound and any encounters, so it's important to be respectful to them. I really appreciated that and was grateful to be on a tour that wasn't stalking and harming the wildlife. We had several close encounters with both young and adult whales coming closer to us and I can believe it's because they have never had a bad encounter with that boat or crew.

Amazing crew, amazing snorkeling, and yummy food. Such a fantastic day! We also had some amazing views of the whales!!!
