  • Bay of Banderas

    Service begins promptly as you begin your direct cruise to Marietas Islands. Relax while enjoying a breakfast of fresh in season fruit, pastries, plus our all day premium beverage service including: water, coffee, juices, sodas, plus margaritas, pina coladas, beer, tequila, wine, champagne and more. All delivered with our famous “ Chica Locca Service” The photographer onboard will be introduced along with the cruise director and crew. For those who did not reserve the photo package but would like the service, the photographer can assist and will follow your day taking beautiful action and candid photos throughout your day in and out of the water.

    Cruise to the Marietas Enjoy the cruise along the North Shore direct to your destination. From December to April these waters are inhabited by humpback whales. But all year you can witness sea turtles, rays and our beautiful tropical coastline. As we cruise to the islands a snack of fresh guacamole and chips is served. As the islands grow closer the excitement builds as the sights and sounds of this marine nation park unfolds in front of you.

  • Marietas Islands

    By late morning, we arrive in the National Park boundaries and anchor for the afternoon. It’s time to explore, swim and experience this unique ocean and beach reserve. With a guide we swim, kayak, paddle or snorkel to Playa la Nopalera. This pristine beach offers a chance to snorkel, explore and enjoy connecting with a special marine environment. full of sea birds, tropical fish, a variety of coral and clear waters. ***Limited Hidden Beach Permit must book in advance*** Because it is a National Park protected biosphere reserve there are strict rules about how many people can enter "Hidden Beach". A special permit must be reserved and paid in pesos when you check in. Please notify us after booking to reserve a permit. We encourage you to book in advance with us to reserve the best days.   • Marietas Islands

    Return to the boat for a well earned tasty lunch of Mexican Fajitas, rice beans and tortillas,. The premium open bar remains open all day drinks. After lunch there is time for more ocean play and wildlife watching and relaxing and enjoy the floating fun factory with open bar and your favorite music.

    On the return trip it's time to have a few drinks, dance and enjoy the rolling views and ocean breeze as you please. Our cruise director is the master of ceremonies for your day. You can dance, play, or relax while cruising back to port. Our crew is always in communication with other boats and on the lookout for whales and sea life. At any moment the boat will stop while nature puts on a show! Our experienced team of photographers will showcase action shots for those who didn’t pre-book photos for you to view and purchase. Great Crew…they made for a wonderful time out on the water. The trip was fun and safe. Food was good. We were well taken care of, and it was great fun…the crew went above and beyond!

Staffs are friendly, they even come with you and introduce about the rock and the creatures near the island, they even introduce about the whales. Boat is nice with beds only.

Local friends worried,”did you know that’s a PARTY boat?!?” And yes, it was boisterous and a bit loud on the lower deck, but quieter up top and still in the shade. We had a good time with the people on the tour, but the highlight was the very friendly, personable and attentive staff. The best. (Lots of whale sightings and awesome bird watching at the islands.)

Fantastic day out! The staff were super attentive and very passionate about their jobs. We saw so many whales and learned lots from our guide. Food was good and open bar was fun. Recommend.

Highly recommend a day with Chica Locca

I am not exaggerating when I say we saw about 25 whales, 7 orcas and a pod of dolphins, along with numerous birds on our cruise on 12/11/24. Luis and the whole crew were very conscientious and informative regarding the wildlife in the area, being very careful and respectful of the bounty of beautiful creatures living in the Banderas Bay. Additionally, they provided drinks and food and fabulous service throughout the journey, as this is touted as a "party boat," though it was far more than that as it turned into a serious whale watching cruise. Those of us who had to swim to Marietas Island did have some stronger surf to deal with, but the staff made us feel safe and supported getting in and out of the boat and to the shore. The water that day was not clear enough for great snorkeling, but we were not disappointed because the crew felt we would see whales if we pushed on, and boy, did we ever! I thoroughly enjoyed Luis's knowledge of the rich history of the region, as well our conversation regarding current events shaping the world. He was a great guide, and the whole crew was nothing but absolutely stellar. A highlight of our trip to this wonderful region!
